From the small harbor, the Väderö ferry departs daily in the summer with frequent trips to Hallands Väderö, and you can buy fresh fish at the fish market in the bustling harbor.
Torekov has several lovely swimming spots, and the surrounding areas offer incredibly beautiful bike paths and walking trails through various nature reserves toward Kullen or the dramatic Hovs Hallar. For golfers, there’s a nice golf course within biking distance in Torekov, and for those interested in tennis and padel, there are also tennis and padel courts available.
Påarp, Hallavara, Kattvik, and Dalen are also just a short distance away, offering beautiful countryside walks or horseback rides, and if you’d like to buy vegetables, you can visit the many farms that sell produce right by vägen. Bäckdalens Handelsträdgård has a tomato farm and a sourdough bakery. There are fantastic restaurants in the immediate area, such as Restaurant Flora at Thora Vingård in Dalen and Magnus Nilsson’s Pensionat Furuhem in Båstad. The recreational opportunities are endless.
Båstad is a 15-minute drive away and can also be reached by bus from the village. Båstad offers all the amenities and services you need. Ängelholm Airport is just under half an hour away, and Copenhagen International Airport is only an hour and a half away by car or directly by train from Båstad Station.
