HSB Brf Metern was founded in 1925 and is one of Stockholm's oldest HSB associations.

The buildings were designed by Sven Wallander, a renowned architect who has designed several landmark buildings in Stockholm.

The association has its own property manager. Cleaning is performed by a cleaning company, and a landscaping company handles most of the courtyard maintenance.
The laundry rooms have been renovated over the past year; drying equipment has been added, and old machines have been replaced. The maintenance plan for the next ten years includes measures focused on, among other things, the facades, the south-facing balcony, and the roof of Vågskivan. All of these measures are currently being implemented.
The association is in good financial standing with a low debt-to-asset ratio relative to the association’s size.
