The closest spot for an evening swim is at Måsugnen, just a two-minute walk away. The scenic Långsjön Nature Reserve, with its popular swimming lake, is also within walking distance. 

There are schools and preschools in the area. Duvnässkolan is within easy walking distance. It offers preschool and grades through 6. Saltängens Preschool is beautifully situated next to Skurusundet, with the forest just around the corner. Långsjöns Preschool is also located nearby, close to Lake Långsjön and the forest. 

The nearest town center is Ektorp, which features grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, and a gym, among other things. Golf enthusiasts will find the Saltsöbaden Golf Club about a 10-minute drive away, as well as the Nacka Golf Club with its 18-hole course, about a 15-minute drive away.
