This exceptionally elegant corner apartment is located in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building dating from 1885. The home has been meticulously renovated throughout and boasts a wealth of preserved original features such as hand-painted stucco, ceiling rosettes, transoms, hand-blown windows, high paneling with a wood-grain finish, stately tiled stoves, herringbone parquet flooring, and ceiling heights of over 10.9 feet. The layout is superb, with two spacious living rooms at the center, both featuring fantastic attention to detail. A custom-built kitchen with an exclusive design opens onto an unusually spacious balcony of approximately 9 square meters. Two elegantly designed bathrooms are followed by three rooms that are well-suited as bedrooms or a TV room/library, if desired. Plenty of built-in storage. Adjacent to the furnished entryway is a separate guest bathroom and an additional bedroom, bringing the total to four bedrooms. Welcome to a magnificent home in the classic Östermalm neighborhood, with an unobstructed location and views of the lush avenue and the Royal College of Music. Additionally, excellent public transportation is right outside the door.

Description

The apartment

The home has been carefully renovated throughout as follows.

All surface finishes were completed in 2013–2014, except for the walls in the living room, which were painted in 2018. Herringbone parquet flooring was added to the TV room/bedroom, and a solid oak security door was installed in 2013–2014.

In 2013, HEGs Snickeri custom-built the kitchen and built-in closets in the bedrooms. The kitchen features a walk-in pantry and a spacious dining area adjacent to the lovely south-facing balcony. The elevator is accessible from the kitchen entrance. Carefully selected appliances include a Lacanche Cluny 100 cm gas stove, a Miele dishwasher, and a Liebherr refrigerator/freezer.

The bathrooms were completely renovated during the plumbing system replacement in 2010–2011 and were given new microcement finishes in 2018 to create a more sleek and exclusive aesthetic.

Herringbone parquet flooring was added to the kitchen and two bedrooms in 2018.

Large basement storage room of approximately 15–20 square meters.

Start date before the end of the year.
