The No. 58 Sturegatan Housing Cooperative acquired the property in 2018, owns the land, and is a so-called “genuine” cooperative. The association has 25 apartments held under the right of occupancy and 11 garage spaces held as cooperative premises. There isa pleasant communalwine cellar with a kitchen, where each apartment has its own wine storage space. There is a communal laundry room and a stroller storage room in the basement, as well as a bicycle storage room in the garage.
A transfer fee of 2.5% of the purchase price and a mortgage registration fee of 1% of the purchase price are charged. Membership may be granted to a legal entity with the board’s consent, provided that the legal entity’s owner and family will reside in the unit. Using the unit as a vacation home requires the board’s approval.
In the fall of 2024, the association carried out a so-called voluntary capital contribution.
In total, 64% of the apartment owners chose to participate fully or partially in the capital contribution—for more information, see the 2024 annual report. This condominium did not participate.
