Welcome to a unique L-shaped family villa with ocean views and a private pool. Located next to Bjärred’s beach and the outdoor swimming facility, this very spacious villa offers a total of 666 square meters spread across 10 rooms, on a 2,302-square-meter lot. From the garden and balconies, you’ll enjoy a lovely view of the Öresund Strait, with the bridge and the Copenhagen skyline in the background. The villa was built in 1959 with unique features, such as a boathouse in the basement, several fireplaces both indoors and outdoors, and large windows facing the sea. The garden, with its turquoise pool, is perfectly west-facing, enjoying sun from morning to evening. The property also includes a greenhouse and a double garage with space for cars and storage.

Generous living areas both indoors and outdoors are ideal for entertaining. The entry level features a spacious living room with a fireplace and room for several seating areas. It flows seamlessly into the dining room, and several doors lead out to the terrace and pool area. Furthermore, in the corner of the house, lies the kitchen with ample storage, space for a large dining table, and a lovely fireplace that provides warmth on cold days. At the other end of the house is the more private section with two bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom.

Upstairs is the enormous upper level, which extends the full length of the house in both directions. It features a studio, a large family room, three bedrooms, and a bathroom. At each end of the house is a balcony overlooking the water, where you can enjoy the sunset over the Öresund.

The basement level features a cozy family room with a fireplace and access to the garden via a staircase. There are several storage rooms, a laundry room, a drying room, a wine cellar, an activity room, and a relaxation area with a sauna.

A highly sought-after location in Bjärred, just 20 minutes from Lund and Malmö. We invite you to viewing.

Description

Renovations

In 2000, the house underwent an extensive renovation, during which the floor plan was slightly altered. New double-pane glass doors were installed leading into the living room. Extensive renovations were also carried out on the upper floor, where a wall was demolished and the ceiling was opened up to the ridge. Two Velux windows were installed in the large, oblong room.

Kitchen: new kitchen from Simonsen & Czechura (2000) with a Gaggenau gas range and ship-style flooring (Junckers) with water-based floor heating. Powerful range hood from Thermex, new Gaggenau dishwashers (2012), Bosch refrigerator and freezer (2014).
Upper-levelbathroom: renovated in 2000 with underfloor heating and a new Velux window.
Fireplaces: open fireplace in the kitchen built in 2000, Belgian “M-design” stove in the living room (2008).
Heating: new 400-meter geothermal heating loop (2000). New air-to-water heat pump installed in 2012 (NIBE 2300).
Landscaping: A new lawn and terrace with new village-style stones were installed in collaboration with Ahrlinge & Östinge (2000–2001). A retaining wall for the lower terrace and a pergola were built in 2017 outside the garage on the garden side, along with new village-style stones and a greenhouse from Willab Garden.
