Fågelbärsträdet Housing Cooperative

The association was registered in 1934 and has been a genuine housing cooperative since its inception. The association owns the land.
The building was inaugurated in September 1935 and was, at the time, Sweden’s first fully realized collective housing project. The architect was Sven Markelius.The building was designated a historic landmark in 1992.At the time,itwas the first functionalist building in Stockholm and the first functionalist residential building in Sweden to be designated a historic landmark. 

The association leases out two spaces on the ground floor: a daycare center measuring 129 square meters and the Petit France restaurant, which spans 286 square meters (ground floor and basement), as well as an outdoor dining area of 80 square meters. 

Petite France, founded by sourdough enthusiast Sebastian Boudet, won the Gold Dragon award from 2008 to 2010.

Close to Norrmälarstrand, with a promenade that leads to Landstingsparken right around the corner, as well as Rålambshovsparken. Nearby restaurants include Mäster Anders, Styrelsen, and Bergamott, among others. Close to Västermalmsgallerian.

Here you’ll find tranquility right next to the sparkling Riddarfjärden and its lovely walking paths, as well as pleasant green spaces like Rålambshovsparken and Kronobergsparken. If you’re looking for a bit of hustle and bustle, you’ll find it just around the corner, with cozy cafés and restaurants, as well as well-stocked grocery stores. 
Transportation to and from Fridhemsplan is excellent. This part of Kungsholmen plenty of restaurants and shops. Västermalmsgallerian has enhanced both the atmosphere and the shopping experience in the area around Fridhemsplan.
