When the weather is nice, the swimming spot at Gröna Udden is a great place to visit.
In central Kungsängen, there are four preschools to choose from. Bergaskolan is located on Gamla Landsvägen and is therefore the school closest to the area. Bergaskolan accepts children from preschool through 5th grade. When children are ready to start 6th grade, they can enroll at Ekhammarskolan. As an alternative, there is the independent Källskolan in Ekhammar, which offers grades 7 through 9. Upplands-Brogymnasiet is located on Skolvägen in the Ekhammar area.
The Strandvägs area is within walking distance of Kungsängen Station. Commuter trains from Kungsängen Station to Stockholm Central Station take about 30 minutes. Trains run between Stockholm and Kungsängen once every 15 minutes for most of the day. At night, buses run instead of commuter trains.
The municipality offers many great outdoor swimming areas. For golf enthusiasts, there are excellent options, such as the Kungsängen Golf Club and the well-known Bro Hof. Kungsängen also features a marina, a lighted cross-country ski trail, tennis courts, an indoor riding arena, and much more.
