The older residence dates back to around the 1840s and is very well-preserved, retaining its original character. On the lower level, there is a kitchen with a dining area and a wood-burning stove, a living room with a tiled stove, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. Both the kitchen and the living room offer views of the water. The upper floor consists of two bedrooms.
On the property, there are two additional habitable cottages. One is located down by the water and is furnished with a small kitchen with a dining area, a living room with a fireplace, and a sleeping loft that sleeps two people. Outside, there is a terrace facing the water with a wood-fired baking/pizza oven. The other cottage is adjacent to the main houses and features a bedroom, a sleeping loft, and a living room, with sleeping accommodations for four to six people.
Down by the dock, the property is complemented by a boathouse and a sauna. Up by the main houses, there is also a spacious woodshop with a root cellar. The mature trees, fruit trees, cliffs, and the solid stone pier connect the buildings to the waterfront, creating a farmstead environment where multiple generations and larger groups can be accommodated during the same stay.
The surroundings of the inner archipelago consist of the sea, open pastures, and a distinctive oak landscape of high natural value, as well as a cultural landscape featuring castles and farms. The boat ride from Sankt Anna Marin takes about ten minutes. Alternatively, you can drive across Djursö to Yntholm and walk the last kilometer or so across the island. The drive from Stockholm takes about 2.5 hours.
