Loviseberg 2 - St. Anna
Right on the water, with breathtaking views of the tranquil archipelago, lies a charming farmstead featuring several residential buildings, a boathouse, a sauna, a woodshop, and a root cellar. There is sleeping space for up to 14 people, spread across several buildings, as well as three kitchens and two bathrooms. The farm is framed by lush, mature hardwood and fruit trees, while gently sloping cliffs lead down to the water. At the shoreline, there is a dock with sufficient depth for sailboats, and adjacent to the dock are a smaller dwelling, a boathouse, and a sauna.
One of the main buildings was constructed in 2008 using timber from the island and is thoughtfully furnished throughout with high-quality materials. The ground floor features an open floor plan where the rooms are arranged around a cozy and warming fireplace. Here you’ll find a large kitchen, a glassed-in porch with a dining area directly adjacent to the kitchen, and a living room with ceiling height extending to the ridge. Bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The loft area features a spacious bedroom with a fireplace.
The older dwelling dates back to the 1840s and is very well-preserved, retaining its original character. On the lower level, there is a kitchen with a dining area and a wood-burning stove, a living room with a tiled stove, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. Both the kitchen and the living room offer views of the water. The upper floor features two bedrooms.
On the property, there are two additional habitable cottages. One is located down by the water and is furnished with a small kitchen with a dining area, a living room with a fireplace, and a sleeping loft that sleeps two people. Outside, there is a terrace facing the water with a wood-fired baking/pizza oven. The other cottage is adjacent to the main houses and features a bedroom, sleeping loft, and living room, with sleeping accommodations for four to six people.
Down by the dock, the property is complemented by a boathouse and a sauna. Up by the main houses, there is also a spacious woodworking shed with a root cellar. The mature trees, fruit trees, cliffs, and the sturdy, well-preserved buildings—combined with the lakeside location—create an idyllic and cozy farm setting where several generations and larger groups can stay together during the same visit.
