Torgerdsvägen 11A - Djursholm
This elegant turn-of-the-century villa, located in Svalnäs, is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery and boasts a rich history. Built in 1914 for Colonel Baron Å W Thott, the property has been in the same family since 1917 and has undergone a meticulous renovation that was awarded the Djursholm Villa Owners’ Association Renovation Prize. Inside, we are greeted by an elegant atmosphere where large, open spaces offer the perfect setting for both everyday life and special occasions. The villa has a total area of 490 sqm, comprising 260 sqm of living space and 230 sqm of ancillary space, arranged over two floors, plus a finished attic and basement. It features a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, a patio directly off the kitchen, a dining room, a parlor, a living room, 2 fireplaces, a library, 4–7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a gym, a wood-fired sauna, and a spacious glass veranda with an overhanging deck. The lot is situated on high ground and features both lawns and areas of untouched land for flowers, heather, and blueberry bushes. Large, centuries-old oaks and pines, as well as laburnums, apple and pear trees, elderberry, beech, maple, rowan, aspen, and spruce. This is a villa that exceptionally conveys the character of the early villa town, in an area of national interest.
