Together, these measures will provide a cash infusion of approximately 10 million kronor, which, in addition to being allocated to the reserve fund, will be used to address current maintenance needs and reduce fees—a move that will significantly increase the value of members’ condominiums.

Norra Villervallanis located on the slope leading down toward LillaVärtanand was built in the 19th century. The building has been designated “green” by theStockholmCity Museum,which means that it is considered to be of particular value from a historical, cultural-historical, environmental, or artistic perspective.
Historical Background
The villas are located just north of the Lidingöbro Inn and the former raft bridge that spanned Lilla Värtan to Lidingön. Their distinctive names likely derive from the Norwegian shipVikingavallen, which was damaged in a fire on Skeppsbron in 1823.
The wreck was acquired by Olof Fresk, son of the manufacturer Lars Fresk and owner of the Lidingöbro inn. He had the wreck converted into a bathhouse calledBadskeppet. In 1842, the town elder and stonemason C.G. Dubois received permission to move Badskeppet to a location just north of the Lidingö Bridge. He then used Badskeppet as a summer residence.
In 1855, a plot of land calledVillervallanwas established, “located on the Royal Djurgården.”
Northern Villervallan
In 1857, Dubois received permission to build the Norra Villervallan villa on the newly formed lot, on the condition that he dispose of the Badskeppet. The villa he had built was a large 2½-story wooden structure in the style of the time, featuring several porches and lavish decorative fretwork. In the mid-1890s, Norra Villervallan was owned by the wholesaler G.M. Amilon, and in the 1920s, a tax assessment assistant named K.H. Pousard is listed as a resident.
In more recent times, there have been film studios, and movies have been shot primarily in Södra Villervallan, where parts of *Söderkåkar* (starring, among others, Sune Mangs, Monica Zetterlund, and Tor Isedal) were filmed.
