For example, when you hire a real estate agent, sign up for a security service, visit our website, or are in contact with Wrede in other ways, such as at a viewing or via a contact form. We may also collect information from third parties, such as ownership information from the Swedish Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authority or supplementary address details. The information we choose to collect about you depends on how and why our contact has arisen. Examples of personal data are:

Why do we need your information?
The main purpose of the personal data processing carried out by Wrede Fastighetsmäkleri is to provide, perform, and improve our services to you. There are several reasons why we may need to collect, process, and store your data. Some of these are purely legal; we need to store your data in order to comply with applicable legislation, such as the Real Estate Agents Act. On other occasions, we need to store your personal data in order to fulfill our agreements, provide you with what we have promised, or offer you the best and most customized services possible.
Wrede Fastighetsmäkleri processes personal data for the following purposes based on the following legal grounds:
| Purpose of the processing | Legal basis for processing (why processing is necessary) |
|---|---|
| To confirm your identity and verify your personal and contact details | Fulfill agreements and commitments we have towards you |
| In order to provide you with housing and services | Fulfill agreements and commitments we have towards you |
| To provide you with the customer service and assistance you may need regarding our services | Fulfill agreements and commitments we have towards you |
| To manage your possible participation in competitions and events | Fulfilling agreements and other legitimate interests |
| To comply with applicable legislation, such as accounting laws, laws on measures against money laundering and terrorist financing, and the Real Estate Agents Act. | Comply with applicable laws |
| For customer group and market analysis with the aim of improving our services for you | Other legitimate interests |
| For sending offers and marketing | Other legitimate interests |
What is legitimate interest?
When we use the legal basis of legitimate interest, it means that the processing is necessary to satisfy our legitimate interest. For example, to be able to offer you housing-related products and services. It may also be that we want to follow up on your visit to a viewing or your purchase of a home. Another legitimate interest is to keep our services as user-friendly and relevant to you as possible. Therefore, we need to analyze how the services are used in order to make improvements for you as a customer. Our aim is to provide you with service in the form of relevant communication, various services, and relevant and customized offers. For the legal basis—legitimate interest—a balance is always struck between Wrede Fastighetsmäkleri's interest in processing personal data and the individual's interest in protecting their personal data.
Why do we need your personal identification number?
Sometimes we need your personal identification number because it is the only way to verify your identity when, for example, signing a contract. We will only process your personal identification number when it is clearly justified for the purpose.
Who might we share your personal data with?
Wrede Fastighetsmäkleri does not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not, of course, disclose your personal data to just anyone. In certain cases, however, we may share your personal data with selected third parties. If this occurs, we ensure that the transfer is carried out in a secure manner that preserves your privacy. Below are categories of recipients with whom we may share your data.

- A real estate agent is required by law to provide the Swedish Real Estate Agents Inspectorate (FMI) with information and documents requested by the FMI in the course of its supervision. Personal data may therefore also be disclosed to the FMI or to the agent's insurance company.

- In cases where we use legitimate interest/interest balancing as the legal basis for a purpose, you have the right to object to the processing. In order to continue processing your personal data after such an objection, we need to be able to demonstrate a compelling legitimate reason for the processing in question that outweighs your interests, rights, or freedoms.
