Here you’ll find a large ICA supermarket, a bank, a home improvement store, a harbor, a hotel, a pickup location for the pharmacy and liquor store, a ferry connection to Fårö, bus route 20 to Visby (and Fårö), restaurants, and much more.
Within walking distance, you’ll also find the exciting Fårösunds Fästning restaurant and hotel, as well as the exotic Bungenäs limestone quarry, which features hotels and restaurants and, during the summer, popular exhibitions and performances by well-known artists. Across Bungeviken (Sandviken) lies Furillen, an island accessible by car. It’s about 1.5 mil by car to Furillen, but it might be faster to take your own boat! And for golf enthusiasts, the Slite Golf Course is only three mil away.
