The elegant living room, dining room, and kitchen form an open-concept layout, with direct access to the beautiful pool and its panoramic views of Baggensfjärden. Large glass panels along the entire long side provide fantastic light and a wonderful sense of space, while extra-wide, openable glass panels blur the line between indoors and outdoors. Lighting for every mood, controlled via Plejd. Master bedroom suite with a home theater, adjoining bathroom—both featuring incredible ocean views—and a dressing room. Two additional spacious bedrooms with closets. On the lower level is an exclusively furnished sauna with a cold plunge pool, views, and access to two large wooden sun decks, featuring dual overhead showers and limestone flooring, as well as an adjacent gym. A guest house totaling approximately 60 square meters, ideal for an au pair or multigenerational living, includes a kitchen, bedroom/office, and bathroom. A boat slip for a 10-meter-long boat, located a five-minute walk from the house, is included with the property. A lovely lot featuring beautiful rocky outcrops, windswept pine trees, a lawn, flower beds, and a gravel path designed by landscape architect Moose Garden. AREA

On Älgö, you live close to the sea, with a wonderful combination of the forest right on your doorstep, a sandy beach with piers, and a playground with rocky shores. The island’s summer kiosk offers a good selection of candy, coffee and pastries, and ice cream. In Solsidan, a few kilometers toward Saltsjöbaden, there’s an excellent restaurant as well as a sushi spot and a fast-food joint, and Saltsjöbaden’s wide variety of restaurants and cafés isn’t far away. Solsidan has preschools, and for four-legged family members, there are two dog daycare centers.

COMMUNICATIONS

There is a bus from Älgö to Solsidan, and from there the Saltsjöbanan train goes to Slussen. By car, it takes about 20 minutes to get to Slussen. Once the subway extension to Nacka is completed, transportation into Stockholm will be even better.
